This annual golf tournament is hosted by Mike Curran at Jacksonville's newest golf course, Stillwater Golf and Country Club. This semi-private, 18 hole, par 72 course features several different tee boxes, wide fairways, a TopTracer driving range, a short-game area, and putting greens. Guests are expected to follow proper golf attire and etiquette, including collared shirts, golf shorts or slacks, and soft-spike shoes.

This golf event has been added for 2026 and is hosted by Nick Norfleet. This 18 hole, par 72 course is the same golf course that has always been on base at Naval Station Mayport and includes a driving range and practice green. The clubhouse features a Pro Shop, men’s and women’s locker room, and Bogey’s Restaurant.

Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill hosts the USS Stark Memorial Service dinner. They have excellent seafood and they are moderately priced. They also setup and area for us to use for door prizes and to raffle off various Stark related items.

There is plenty of seating indoors but they also have a large ourdoor patio with live music. This is an excellent area for those wanting to enjoy a cocktail and a cigar.

39th USS STARK MEMORIAL SERVICE

This will be the 39th USS Stark Memorial Service. There will be several speakers throughout the service including a guest speaker. The ship's bell is rung as each shipmate's name is called out. There is also a wreath presentation by the Naval Order of the United States.

IMPORTANT: If you do not have base access, please go to the Service page and fill out the form. This is mandatory for access to the Memorial Service.

USS STARK CLASSROOM TOUR

Take a tour of the Stark classroom filled with USS Stark memorabilia. This is where the USS Stark stern plate is housed as well as several items displayed around the room.

Sneakers is a great sports bar at the beach. They have dozens of TVs to watch any sport you like. There is plenty of seating inside, a great bar, and plenty of room outside for a cocktail and a cigar.
